At CRAFT we create custom illustrated books, activity kits and take-home materials that keep your school alive in a family's mind, long after they leave your campus.
Here is a sample of some work we made for a couple of schools.
“Welcome, in a language they don’t speak yet.”
A specific and beautiful challenge: how do you make a child feel welcome in a school where the language of instruction is French, especially when that language is brand new to them?
The school wanted a hand-drawn vibe to it, something warm, with no straight lines. We illustrated the first important words a new student would hear and use every single day, each letter reflecting the school's values and the spirit of immersion.
More than a language tool: a love letter to the adventure of learning in a new tongue, for children and parents to explore together from the very first day.

For the Lower School, a companion for the whole journey: Wesley the Dragon, chubby, warm and bold, embracing adventure and standing by his community. Wesley isn't just a mascot, he's a friend.
Through mazes, spreads and seasonal pages, he introduces students to everything that makes WES special: athletics, the musical, the Halloween parade, the trips they'll one day take.

“Twenty-six letters, one school they already love.”
WES wanted new Pre-School families to feel at home from day one. We drew a warm, hand-drawn alphabet where every letter is a value or a milestone of school life, Kind, Soccer, Ceramics, the famous volcano experiment in Pre-K 4, the bell tower 8th graders ring in a beloved school-wide tradition.
Left ready to color, so a school keepsake becomes a family activity at the kitchen table.

From your front entrance to your bell tower, we capture the character of your campus in warm, hand-drawn illustrations that become part of your school's visual identity: in books, on walls, in the hands of families.

Families visit your campus. They love what they see. They leave inspired.
And then life happens. The feeling fades. The brochure gets recycled. By the time they sit down to make their decision, another school has stayed with them, and you haven't.
In a market where strong public schools are everywhere and neighboring private schools are competing for the same families, your story deserves to live beyond the open house.
Families need something to take home, come back to, and fall in love with, again and again.
After years working inside schools, in classrooms, on athletic fields, and in admissions departments, we saw the same pattern repeat. Schools had incredible stories to tell, but no way to make those stories travel home with families.
So we built an approach around three simple, powerful ideas. At every stage of a family's journey, CRAFT creates custom illustrated materials that make your school impossible to forget.

“When you work with us, you're not working with an outside agency that needs to learn your world. You're working with someone who has lived it.”
French-American by background, I spent 15 years inside private schools on both coasts: teacher, head of department, athletic director, camp director, afterschool manager. From immersion schools in San Francisco to independent schools on the East Coast, I've lived private school life from the inside out.
Alongside that work I've always been an illustrator and storyteller, leading writing and illustration workshops with children and publishing original stories in French and English.
For 15 years I wasn't a witness to admission efforts, I was part of every one. And I saw how quickly that energy faded once families walked out the door. Those efforts deserved to travel further.
At CRAFT, I sit with your team, learn your traditions, your spaces and your mascot, then draw every page by hand with my team. No stock art, no AI, no template reused from another school. What you get is an original world that belongs to your school alone.
I served as an Admissions Specialist at a leading French-American school in the Washington D.C. area, where I personally guided over 130 families through the complex journey of middle and high school enrollment.
As the “face of the secondary school,” I designed immersive experiences, from open houses to shadow visits, that moved families from first inquiry to final enrollment.
My expertise is rooted in having heard the stories of thousands of families. I tailor a school's narrative to a family's expectations, so every parent and student feels heard, valued and at home before they ever step into a classroom.
At CRAFT, that is the work I do with your team: building the timeline that puts each piece in a family's hands at the moment it counts. Open house, tour follow-up, acceptance letter, first day. Producing meaningful material is only half the work. Delivering it at the right moment is what turns interest into enrollment.
Pricing is scoped on our first call.
It starts with one call with your admissions and/or communication team. We want to understand your school from the inside: your values, your traditions, your mascot, the entry points you are trying to fill, and what your current tools are. That conversation helps determine which package and which products suit your needs best, and it is what everything we draw is built on.
You see character sketches and page layouts early, and we revise together until it looks and sounds like your school. Unlike other communication companies, we refuse to use AI to create your content. Working with CRAFT guarantees content that is original, that sets you apart from other schools, and that brings warmth and something special to your students and families.
We produce a wide range of finished products: books large and small, activity kits, tote bags, card games, and any goodies you would like to put in a family's hands. Everything is delivered in time for your admissions calendar, along with print-ready files so you can reuse the drawings however you like in the future.
Tell us a little about your school and what you are looking for. We will get in touch to set up a call and take it from there.
